Position Overview
Our client, a rapidly evolving global organization, is seeking an experienced and strategic Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) to lead the development and execution of its global people strategy. As a key member of the executive leadership team, the CHRO will oversee all aspects of human capital management, including organizational design, talent acquisition, employee engagement, performance management, and global HR operations. This remote role will require periodic travel to company headquarters and regional offices for executive planning and strategic alignment.
The ideal candidate will bring a proven track record of building and scaling high-performing HR functions in dynamic, multi-national environments and will be comfortable balancing strategic leadership with hands-on operational execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and lead the global human resources strategy to align with the company’s vision, goals, and long-term objectives
- Provide strategic guidance to executive leadership on workforce planning, organizational development, and change management
- Lead and enhance talent acquisition, retention, and development programs to support a high-performance culture
- Oversee compensation, benefits, and total rewards strategies to ensure market competitiveness and internal equity
- Drive the implementation of scalable HR systems, processes, and infrastructure across global regions
- Foster a culture of diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging across all levels of the organization
- Ensure compliance with regional labor laws and HR best practices across multiple countries
- Support leadership development and succession planning through coaching, training, and performance frameworks
- Partner with finance and operations on headcount planning, budgeting, and workforce optimization
- Serve as a cultural ambassador, reinforcing the organization’s core values, mission, and people-first philosophy
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Organizational Development, or a related field; advanced degree preferred
- 10+ years of progressive HR leadership experience, including prior executive-level responsibility
- Proven experience leading HR across global or multi-regional organizations
- Expertise in HR strategy, organizational effectiveness, and change management
- Demonstrated success in scaling HR functions within growing or transformational environments
- Strong understanding of international labor laws, employment compliance, and workforce regulations
- Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills
- Ability to influence and build trusted relationships at all levels of the organization
- Comfortable working in a remote setting while traveling periodically for high-level engagements and alignment
