We are seeking an enthusiastic, team‑orientated Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our team at Easipetcare Derby on a full‑time basis. Easipetcare is a small animal practice located in Derby. We are ISFM accredited. The practice has excellent transport links, including the M1 and a direct train to London, with the beautiful Peak District National Park nearby.

We have a supportive and friendly team of one Veterinary Surgeon, three RVNs, one SVN, one VCA and three Receptionists. Our team is passionate about providing the highest standard of care for both pets and their owners. We enjoy annual team‑building days, support Cats Protection and StreetVet, and regularly donate unused pet food to local charities. Our Derby practice features four consult rooms, separate cat, dog and isolation wards, a dedicated x‑ray and ultrasound suite, a spacious theatre and prep room, plus a fully equipped in‑house laboratory.

How You’ll Make a Difference

As a Registered Veterinary Nurse, you will be an integral member of the clinical team, delivering high‑quality nursing care to patients while supporting excellent client experiences. You’ll work collaboratively with veterinary surgeons and the wider practice team, taking responsibility for the nursing care of a range of first‑opinion cases, contributing to clinical standards, and supporting the ongoing development of patient care within the practice.

Working Pattern

  • Full‑time - 40 hours per week
  • Monday to Friday between 8:00am and 6:30pm
  • 1 in 3 or 1 in 4 Saturdays, 9:00am - 12:30pm (depending on start date)
  • No out‑of‑hours or on‑call requirements

General Responsibilities

  • Carry out nurse consultations
  • Support theatre and surgical procedures
  • Assist with radiography and laparoscopic procedures
  • Provide high‑quality inpatient nursing care
  • Support clients with day‑to‑day enquiries and advice
