We are seeking an enthusiastic, team‑orientated Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our team at Easipetcare on a part‑time basis. Our practice is home to a friendly and supportive team of 2.5 Veterinary Surgeons, 4 RVNs, 1 SVN, 5 Receptionists, a Practice Director, and a Practice Manager. We benefit from a varied medical and surgical caseload, with exposure to orthopaedic, cardiac, soft tissue, and diagnostic imaging cases through collaboration with visiting specialist clinicians. How You’ll Make a Difference
As a Registered Veterinary Nurse, you will be an integral member of the clinical team, delivering high-quality nursing care to patients while supporting excellent client experiences. You’ll work collaboratively with veterinary surgeons and the wider practice team, taking responsibility for the nursing care of a range of first‑opinion cases, contributing to clinical standards, and supporting the ongoing development of patient care within the practice.
Working Pattern
- 32 hours per week
- 4 days per week, 8.5-hour shifts
- 1 in 3 Saturday mornings with time back in lieu
- 12-month fixed-term maternity cover
General Responsibilities
- Assist veterinary surgeons with operations, diagnostics, and clinical procedures
- Work collaboratively across clinical and front-of-house functions to ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the practice
- Conduct nurse consultations, providing patient care, advice, and follow-up support to clients
- Manage and dispense medications in accordance with practice protocols
