Position Overview: We are looking for a dedicated and proactive Account Manager to join our team with a focus on the education sector. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, an understanding of school network infrastructures, and a commitment to maintaining and promoting DfE Digital Standards. This role requires regular customer interactions, project management, and collaboration with technical teams to ensure the seamless delivery of our services and solutions to schools.
Key Responsibilities:
- Customer Communication and Satisfaction: Conduct regular customer communication and satisfaction meetings, including monthly Teams calls scheduled for one hour. Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders in schools, ensuring their needs and feedback are promptly addressed.
- Infrastructure Knowledge: The ideal candidate would possess knowledge of school infrastructure to effectively understand customer needs and provide relevant solutions. Keep updated logs on staff, important contacts, project dates, and other critical information.
- Service and License Management: Maintain a thorough understanding of our services and licenses offered to educational institutions. Ensure all service offerings and quotes align with DfE Digital Standards, regularly discussing their importance with customers.
- Standards and Compliance: Uphold DfE Digital Standards and engage with customers to emphasize their significance. Review and validate all purchasing quotes to ensure compliance with these standards.
- Commission-Based Sales: Manage sales and renewals of services, earning commissions based solely on new and renewed services. Collaborate with technical or administrative teams to scope and execute technical aspects of services like broadband while documenting procedures for these tasks.
- Project Management: Oversee and manage projects, ensuring timely communication with customers about progress. Work closely with technical teams to scope and execute work efficiently and effectively.
- Collaboration and Teamwork: Partner with technical consultants on larger projects, providing necessary support and coordination. Ensure seamless collaboration between Account Managers and technical teams to enhance service delivery and customer satisfaction.
Qualifications:
