Responsibilities
- Ensure that the school’s buildings and grounds are in proper working order, maintaining a safe working environment for all users of the facility.
- Carry out minor repairs and report any faults which require specialist help.
- Maintain grounds, keep premises clean, and collect rubbish.
- Responsible for the security of the buildings, carrying out security checks and ensuring all fire safety and health and safety regulations are adhered to.
Qualifications
- Good DIY skills and knowledge of basic maintenance.
- Manual handling techniques.
- Ability to use power tools safely; all safety equipment will be provided.
- Good communication skills and reliable team member.
- Ability to work both inside and outside of school grounds.
