Ground Worker/Ramp Fitter- All levels required

Easiaccess are looking for ground workers/ramp fitters to join a very successful team of installation operatives. We are currently looking for all levels of experience so if you are interested please apply!
Applicants must have a clean full driving license, experience of running a site, good groundwork skills, H&S experience, good communication skills and a strong team work ethic. Easiaccess is based in Gateshead, however, site work is conducted across the UK, therefore, working away is a non-negotiable part of the role.
The ideal candidate will be a competent ground worker/landscape gardener with the ability to concrete, pave, block pave, some bricklaying skills such as building a small retaining wall and piecing in. They will also have basic joinery skills such as door threshold replacement, some fencing and garden gate work will be involved. A good knowledge of all associated preparation such as ground works would be a distinct advantage.
While the core part of the role is to install ramping equipment for domestic and commercial clients, many of the installations require extensive ground works. Please familiarise yourself with the type of work we undertake by visiting www.easiaccess.co.uk.

Required skills:
- Paving: Able to install footpaths and paved patio areas to a good standard.
- Pin kerbing / paving on edge: Be able to sensibly mark out an installation and set up pin kerbing and paving on edge.
- Fencing: Be able to install timber posts and build a timber fence to a high standard including timber gates.
Concrete: Can shutter and install concrete pads and footpaths with a good knowledge of setting out to allow for drainage from these areas.
- Bricklaying: low walls brick and flag steps etc.
- Block paving: Extending existing block paved patios or widening existing footpaths.
- Aco drainage: Ability to install Aco type drainage.
