We are looking for a trained inventory and distribution specialist to operate with the Barrow Area Warehouse. Their role will be focused on accuracy of inventory and order fulfilment, overseeing stock levels and maintaining records.
The Consultant will be provided with a laptop. External consultants’ equipment such as PCs, mobile phones and iPads must always be up to date with the latest iOS release. The owner must allow clients Air Watch security and management software for iPhones and iPads to be installed. The app is mandatory on all mobile devices used by client staff (including External consultants) to protect them from cybercrime. The owner must grant approval for client to remove apps, data and access from privately owned equipment if it is deemed to pose a risk in relation to client security or the GDPR regulations, if the equipment is lost/stolen, or if the owner ceases to have an active contract with Magnit and/or client. When an external consultant leaves the client, they must contact the IT Service Desk to remove all clients apps and data. The IT Service Desk can only support privately owned equipment in connection with clients AirWatch security and management software.
Requirements
- Preferably candidates are local (Barrow in Furness) or state on their CV / cover letter that they are willing to relocate as client will not cover any costs for accommodation.

- IT literate (SAP or similar ERP system and Microsoft Office package)
- GCSEs in English and Maths (or equivalent) are essential.
- Fluent in English language skills
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities efficiently
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Problem-solving mindset with a proactive approach
- Comfortable using technology and learning new software tools
- A passion for sustainability and green energy
