Description:
- Lead end-to-end IT contract lifecycle management (drafting, negotiation, execution, renewal, termination)
- Develop, review, and negotiate IT agreements (SaaS, software licenses, cloud services, managed services, hardware, consulting)
- Managing claims
- Comfort working with both project-based contracts and recurring SaaS/software agreements
- Demonstrated experience handling major IT vendors (e.g., hyperscalers, SaaS, software licensing, implementation partners)
- Ensure contracts align with client policies, risk appetite, cybersecurity standards, and regulatory requirements
- Partner with Legal, Finance, and business stakeholders to structure commercial and contractual terms
- Drive commercial optimization including cost control, value realization & benchmarking
- Identify and mitigate contractual, operational, data privacy, and information security risks
- Support IT sourcing initiatives
- Maintain contract repository and ensure compliance with contract management best practices
- Lead contract renewal strategies and renegotiations to optimize value and mitigate auto-renewal risks
- Ensure compliance with data protection regulations (e.g., GDPR), IP rights, and cybersecurity clauses
- Provide contract advisory support to IT stakeholders and project managers
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Law, Business Administration, IT, or related field
- 3–7 years of experience in IT contract management, IT procurement, vendor management, or software licensing
- Strong understanding of IT commercial models (SaaS, subscription, licensing, cloud consumption models)
- Proven experience negotiating IT agreements with global vendors
- Knowledge of IT risk areas including data protection, cybersecurity, IP rights, and liability frameworks
- Strong commercial acumen and analytical skills
- Able to plan and negotiate renewals and additional purchases for IT vendors
- Experience working cross-functionally with IT, Legal, Finance, and senior stakeholders
- Familiarity with contract lifecycle management (CLM) systems
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- Ability to balance risk mitigation with commercial pragmatism
- Experience in international contracting environments
