A great opportunity has come up for an experienced Project Manager to join a company that specialises in the planning/design and construction of utility scale Solar/PV projects across the UK. The successful Project Manager will be responsible for managing these utility scale (ground mount) projects from design to construction execution, commissioning and handover. You will manage budgets and planning and make sure projects are delivered on time.
Essential skills:
- Strong experience delivering large construction projects, ideally with some being in renewables
- Electrical/utilities background preferred
- Solution driven with excellent organisational skills
- Strong leadership ability with experience managing internal project team as well as external contractors
- Excellent communications skills
- Willing and able to travel
- Experience delivering utility scale Solar/PV or BESS projects in the UK
- Good knowledge of the UK renewable energy market
