As demand for reliable, scalable charging solutions accelerates across public, commercial, and fleet sectors, our client is seeking an experienced Sales Director to lead its commercial strategy and drive sustainable revenue growth.
This is a senior leadership role with significant influence over company direction, offering the opportunity to shape how EV charging infrastructure is deployed at scale. The Sales Director will be responsible for defining and executing the sales strategy, building high‐performing teams, and securing long‐term partnerships across key markets.
Key responsibilities include:
- Developing and owning the company's sales strategy across public, private, fleet, and commercial customers
- Leading, mentoring, and scaling a high‐performing sales and business development team
- Driving pipeline growth, forecasting, and revenue delivery against ambitious targets
- Building strategic partnerships with local authorities, property developers, fleet operators, utilities, and corporates
- Leading complex, high‐value negotiations and long‐term framework agreements
- Working closely with product, operations, and finance to ensure solutions are commercially viable and deliverable
- Providing market insight to inform product roadmap, pricing, and go‐to‐market strategy
About You
You are a commercially astute leader with a proven track record of selling complex infrastructure, energy, or technology solutions. You will likely have:
- Senior sales leadership experience within EV charging, energy, infrastructure, mobility, or adjacent sectors
- Demonstrated success in closing large, multi‐stakeholder deals and long sales cycles
- Experience building and leading sales teams in high‐growth environments
- Strong understanding of the EV ecosystem, grid considerations, and commercial models
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- A strategic mindset with hands‐on execution capability
