Overview of Role

To lead on Risk Management duties for multiple Offshore Wind Farms on the East Coast of the UK, supporting the project through Bids, FID, Design, Manufacturing and Construction.

To lead and ensure identification, assessment, mitigation and escalation of project risks to the Project SteerCo and Finance Director.

To lead on all Risk and Opportunity topics for the project.

To ensure that all Project Risk Management activities are conducted within the RWE processes and procedures within the business.

To provide QRA values for monthly reporting, contingency calculation and business case assurance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Detailed knowledge of Offshore Wind Development & Construction
  • Detailed knowledge of Project Risk Management
  • Detailed knowledge of QRA, SRA and tools such as SAFRAN and Active Risk Manager
  • Experience of deploying Risk Manager on major Civil or Offshore Construction Projects through Design, Manufacture and Construction
  • Experience of Schedule Risk Analysis, Stress Testing, Pre-Mortem, QRA
  • Experience of Reporting and providing information to Board Level, Project Director and Senior Project Managers
  • Updated package and project Risk Values in line with monthly reporting timescales
  • Undertake Project Risk Workshops, Stress Test Workshops
  • To conduct scenario planning, what-if analysis, schedule risk analysis
  • Ensure project risk registers are maintained and up to date
  • Communication of QRA values and potential project contingency values
