Duties
- As an experienced Project / Programme Manager, you will support and mentor the wider team to develop capability and ensure resilience.
- You’ll have proficient knowledge of the application of CDM.
- You’ll have proficient knowledge of FIDIC/NEC/EPC contracts.
- Knowledge of substations or overhead lines is advantageous.
- Knowledge of UK distribution system engineering is advantageous but not essential.
- Given some of the projects are in the early development phase experience in project development, seeking Development Consent Order and/or Local.
Key Accountabilities
- Lead/Support the investment process during pre-construction, delivery and closure for projects of varying complexity ensuring governance is maintained throughout.
- You will develop/support, sanction, and deliver the optimal solution, ensuring best value to the consumer.
- Ensure internal and contractor compliance with Health & Safety, COM & Environmental legislation as well as adherence to SHES standards.
- Assess the need and where required appoint Front End Engineering Design (FEED) support. Monitor and control their activities to provide an optimal compliant solution in a timely manner.
- Provide regular project status reports giving accurate financial forecasting, SHESQ performance, milestone progress & risk management data.
