Overview
Job Purpose: To ensure materials and equipment delivery, controlling suppliers and alerting the project team in case of delay.
Responsibilities
Main Responsibilities: Procured materials and equipment delivery in compliance with project schedule requirements.
Key Activities:
- Tracking of materials and equipment suppliers;
- Controlling work progress of materials and equipment suppliers;
- Carrying out expediting visits at suppliers' premises and preparing expediting reports;
- Preparing supplier delivery according to contractual requirements, and after technical release has been issued;
- Dealing with Logistics Coordinator relevant to EXW delivery of materials and equipment;
- Dealing with and expediting Engineering Team with reference to approval of Vendor design documents;
- Dealing with Procurement Dept with reference to supplier contractual delivery date changes.
Qualifications
Required Experience: 3 years of experience in O&G Project Execution Environment as Expediter.
Required knowledge, technical or professional skills:
- Development Project Management: schedule planning and control;
- Contracting: basic knowledge of typical contracts for packages, equipment and supplies T&C and pricing structure;
- Facilities: construction/offshore hook up process basic knowledge and main requirements in terms of materials availability;
- Quality: basic knowledge of QA/QC Construction Management Systems;
- Logistics: intermediate knowledge of land/marine/air transportation methodologies and means, custom clearance and warehousing and handling techniques;
- Good Knowledge of Microsoft MS Office Package.
