Job Description

Electrical Engineer – Utility Scale Solar/PV

An exciting opportunity has come up for an Electrical Engineer to join an established business that specialises in the design, construction, and maintenance of utility scale Solar/PV projects across Europe.

The successful Electrical Engineer will be responsible for designing and planning ground mounted PV systems and ensuring the smooth implementation of projects across the UK. You will collaborate with various teams and designers across the business to ensure planning conditions, customer requirements, and electrical requirements are aligned, and assist with vetting various electrical suppliers.

Essential skills:

  • Strong electrical background with a degree/diploma in electrical Engineering or similar
  • Solid understanding of all associated UK electrical regulations
  • Good experience designing utility scale PV projects, and knowledge of the UK market
  • Knowledge of PVsyst and AutoCAD
  • Ability to work independently with detail-oriented way of working
  • Excellent communication skills
