We're seeking a skilled Project Engineer to support the delivery of HVAC and specialist mechanical engineering projects within safety-critical environments. You'll ensure work is delivered safely, on time, and to the correct technical standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and coordinate project activities, schedules and milestones
- Provide technical oversight on HVAC designs, drawings and equipment selections
- Supervise site installation, testing and commissioning
- Maintain project documentation and support cost control
- Liaise with clients, suppliers and project teams to resolve technical issues and ensure project expectations are met
Requirements
- HNC/HND or higher in Mechanical Engineering / Building Services
- Strong knowledge of HVAC system design, standards (e.g. DW144) and packaged plant room fabrication
- Experience across full project lifecycle, including design reviews and site execution
- Commercial awareness and strong communication skills
- Experience in nuclear or safety-critical environments is desirable
