At least two days in the office – 30 hours per week, 7.5 hours per day
Key competencies:- Proven experience in offshore site characterisation and analyses of in situ data and laboratory test results
- Proven experience with processing and validating geotechnical data, including AGS data handling and writing Geotechnical Interpretation Reports (GIRs)
- Knowledge of the geotechnical input required for foundation and cable design, installation constraints, and understanding of the interfaces with different engineering teams
- High degree of personal responsibility and accountability, capable of working with different tasks in parallel
- Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills; enjoys working closely with colleagues and project teams
- Fluent in spoken and written English
- Results oriented
- In-depth experience with planning and scoping of offshore geotechnical site investigations, including deep, shallow, and nearshore site investigation techniques
- Integrated ground model development working closely with clients' Geophysical Site Characterisation Department
- Geotechnical Parameter Interpretation using in situ and laboratory test data to create profiles to support foundation and cable design and installation
- Use client in-house software, Python and/or Excel to perform analyses and present results
- Prepare and QA geotechnical interpretive report and other deliverables to stakeholders
- Prepare geotechnical site investigation scopes to support foundation and subsea cable design and installation
- Advanced geotechnical parameter interpretation e.g. development of cyclic contours
Working location: UK (London). The candidate should default from our office at least 3 days a week, but this can be negotiated depending on the candidate.
Desired start date: 13-04-2026
Workload: 0.75 FTE
Contract period: fixed with option for prolonging
The work will be performed under client quality assurance procedures and on clients' digital platforms.
