Description:
The OPS QHSE advisor has daily reference to the OPS QHSE Manager or Head of Site to support client Offshore OPS in managing QHSE risks. The OPS QHSE Advisor is responsible for providing independent, expert, and professional advice and guidance to site management on all health and safety issues, actively participates in and promotes a high standard of health, safety, and environmental awareness and culture at the wind farm. Maintain an understanding of the Offshore asset integrity management policy and strategy and relevant responsibilities of the job.
Success Criteria/KPIs
- OPS QHSE managers and Site Manager at relevant Operational sites in CE and UK, are supported as needed
- Strong cooperation and LL sharing with other QHSE advisors across different regions
- Support client and/or Regional QHSE Targets
- Individual success criteria and KPIs are to be found in individual PDD documents
Key Responsibilities/Task/Deliverables
- In client IMS, review and contribute to updating existing site-specific processes, procedures and instructions according to requirements and scope of work
- Support a site culture of using and maintaining relevant processes, procedures and instructions client IMS
- Update client Incident reporting tool:
- Enter and follow up on cases or support/train local responsible people in being able to do this
- Perform first line quality check on cases
- Conduct investigations when necessary
- Give feedback on the status of cases to technicians or other relevant local stakeholders
- Create a good culture around Incident reporting through leading by example, knowledge sharing, and lessons learned
- Support the site with legal compliance through use of RedOnline and promoting awareness of legal requirements on site
- Execute the legal monthly compliance check with RedOnline and prepare action plans
- Contribute to the site compliance standards that client OF holds
- Support the site with Quality tasks e.g. inspections and initiatives as defined with the QHSE organisation
- QHSE activities in accordance with the site QHSE activity plan both on- and offshore (offshore rotation if required)
- Engage with QHSE back-office to provide input the global QHSE plan and strategy
- Safety inspections, incident investigation and root cause analysis (vessel, SOV, CTV, turbines, OSS, HUB-facilities, Helicopter facilities etc.)
- Documentation of safety inspections
- Support (plan, execute and follow up) in executions of emergency exercises and Emergency Response Plan
- Review and update activity plan according to requirements, scope and KPI's
- Support QHSE culture projects as needed
- Roll-out and follow-up of all QHSE-related campaigns both onshore and on vessels
- As relevant, participate in kick-offs on vessels for service campaigns
- Support site (Q)HSE meetings
- Participate and support toolbox talks, back to work briefing and end of shift meeting
- Participate and contribute to all relevant site (Q)HSE meetings
- Contribute towards Board governance reporting on QHSE
- Contribute to QHSE meetings both external and internal
- Participate in audits (internal and external)
- Follow up on findings from QHSE related audits and support implementation of NCR's
- Support site management in reporting to authorities as needed (e.g., BSH, Gewerbeaufsicht, BG, HSE)
Additional tasks
- Reporting LTIs to HSE organisation in accordance with the process
- Ad hoc advise on questions regarding QHSE in daily work (e.g. management, technicians, internal and external)
- Observe execution of additional/special tasks (retrofits, main component exchange, etc.)
- Ensure the validity of own safety certificates: Global Wind Organisations Standard Basic Safety Training (BST) etc.
- Be proactive in maintaining competence level required for the role
- Full GWO certification, HUET, OGUK medical and Chester Step test with a score of 35 or above. An expectation to be able to travel offshore via CTV or Helicopter
Essential

Competence
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate with stakeholders at different organizational levels. The job holder will be expected to reach the estimated competence levels fit for the relevant career path and seniority as laid out in client competency model. If some tasks possess the highest direct risk to Operations within the areas of Legal, People, Environment, Asset and Reputation, these will be defined separately. Other types of competences will be managed by the Learning and Development department and your manager going forward.
