At least two days in the office – 30 hours per week, 7.5 hours per day.
Key competencies:
- Have proven experience in offshore site characterisation and analyses of in situ data and laboratory test results.
- Have proven experience with processing and validating geotechnical data, including AGS data handling and with writing Geotechnical Interpretation Reports (GIRs).
- Have knowledge of the geotechnical input required for foundation and cable design, installation constraints and understanding of the interfaces with different engineering teams.
- Have a high degree of personal responsibility and accountability and capable of working with different tasks in parallel.
- Have strong analytical, communication and stakeholder management skills and enjoy working closely with colleagues and project teams.
- Must be able to speak and write English fluently.
- Must be results oriented.
Additional competencies:
- Have in-depth experience with planning and scoping of offshore geotechnical site investigations, including deep shallow and nearshore site investigation techniques.
Key Tasks:
- Integrated ground model development working closely with clients Geophysical Site Characterisation Department.
- Geotechnical Parameter Interpretation using in situ and laboratory test data to create profiles to support foundation and cable design and installation.
- Use client in-house software, Python and/or Excel to perform analyses and present results.
- Prepare and QA geotechnical interpretive report and other deliverables to stakeholders.
Additional Tasks:
- Prepare geotechnical site investigation scopes to support foundation and subsea cable design and installation.
- Advanced geotechnical parameter interpretation e.g. development of cyclic contours.
Requirements:
- Working location: UK (London). The candidate should default from our office at least 3 days a week, but this can be negotiated depending on the candidate.
- Desired start date: 13-04-2026.
- Workload: 0.75 FTE.
- Contract period: fixed with option for prolonging.
- The work will be performed under client quality assurance procedures and on clients digital platforms.
