Our client is a leading provider of turnkey solutions for ground-mounted utility-scale solar plants, and due to a very strong project pipeline are looking for an experienced and well-structured Team Coordinator (Site Management) to lead and support their UK-based site teams.

In this role, you will oversee multiple project sites, providing leadership, coaching, and coordination. Acting as the key link between site teams and the Site Management Team Leader, you will ensure consistent execution, adherence to company standards, and high-quality delivery across all projects.

Responsibilities:

  • Act as line manager for site team members, supporting their performance and professional development
  • Conduct onboarding, performance reviews, and growth & development
  • Provide coaching and constructive feedback based on site visits and project outcomes
  • Visit active sites regularly to monitor quality, progress, and execution standards
  • Participate in internal audits, HSE reviews, and certification processes

Your Profile:

  • NVQ Level 6 or higher in Construction Management, Civil, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering
  • Proven experience in leadership or coordination roles within utility-scale solar or large infrastructure projects
  • Strong understanding of construction practices, workflows, and HSE standards
  • Excellent communication, organisational, and leadership skills
  • Ability to manage multiple sites and teams simultaneously

Required Certifications:

  • Valid SMSTS certification
  • Black CSCS or Black ECS card (discipline-dependent)
  • First Aid certification (3-day course)
  • Valid UK driving licence
  • Willingness to travel regularly across the UK (role is not site-based full-time)
