We are seeking Vestas Wind Turbine Technicians at all levels, including:
- Trainee Vestas Technician - Ideal for candidates with an electrical, mechanical, industrial, armed forces or renewable energy background looking to enter the wind industry.
- Vestas Wind Turbine Technician
- Senior Vestas Wind Turbine Technician - Highly experienced technicians capable of leading teams, performing advanced diagnostics and supporting major repair projects.
Responsibilities include:
- Mechanical and electrical fault diagnosis
- Blade inspections and blade replacement projects
- Hub swaps and major component exchanges
- Turbine commissioning and recommissioning
- Condition monitoring and performance analysis
- Lead field teams on major projects
- Produce risk assessments and method statements
Requirements:
- Mechanical or electrical qualification (or equivalent experience)
- Full UK driving licence
- Experience working on Vestas wind turbines or similar industrial equipment
- Electrical and/or mechanical fault-finding skills
- Working knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical systems
- Experience leading field teams
