Start Your Geology Career in Australia!
EARTH AI is transforming how critical mineral deposits are discovered using artificial intelligence, advanced exploration technology, and modern geological methods. Founded in Sydney in 2016, we’re building the next generation of mineral exploration—faster, smarter, and more sustainable than traditional approaches.
We are looking for an ambitious early-career Geologist from the United Kingdom who is ready to relocate to Sydney and gain hands-on exploration experience across some of Australia's most prospective and remote geological regions. If you have up to three years of experience and want to fast-track your career through fieldwork, responsibility, international experience, and exposure to cutting-edge technology, this could be the opportunity you’ve been looking for.
About the Role
Based in Sydney, you will support exploration activities across New South Wales helping identify and evaluate new critical mineral deposits. The role combines fieldwork, operational support, and geological interpretation. You will contribute across the full exploration lifecycle - from geological mapping and sampling through to target generation, data analysis, land access coordination, and exploration planning. The position involves regular travel and extended field campaigns in remote regions of Australia, including camping on-site for periods of time.
Key Responsibilities

- Geological mapping and field observations
- Soil, rock, and stream sediment sampling programs
- Support geophysical and geological surveys
- Geological data collection, validation, and interpretation
- Core logging and sample management where required
- Exploration & Operations Support

- Support planning and execution of exploration programs
- Maintain high-quality geological databases and QAQC standards
- Assist with land access, permitting, and stakeholder engagement activities
- Work closely with geologists, engineers, drilling contractors, and field crews
- Promote strong health, safety, and environmental standards
- Contribute directly to critical mineral discovery projects
What We’re Looking For

- Strong interest in hands-on exploration and field-based work
- Comfortable working outdoors in remote environments
- Understanding of geological systems and exploration techniques
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Proactive attitude and willingness to learn
- Eligible and willing to relocate to Sydney, Australia

This isn’t a graduate role where you’ll spend years behind a desk waiting for responsibility. At EARTH AI, you’ll be actively involved in exploration programs that are helping discover the critical minerals needed for clean energy, battery technology, defence, and future infrastructure. You’ll work alongside experienced geologists, engineers, data scientists, and technology specialists while gaining exposure to proprietary AI-driven exploration systems that are changing the mining industry globally.
