Maintaining own occupational CPD annually.
- Attending update meetings / standardisation / CPD as needed.
- Hold an accepted vocational assessor qualification, e.g. A1 or Level 3 Certificate in Assessing Vocational Achievement.
- Hold a teaching qualification, e.g. Cert Ed, L3 AET, L4 CET, L5 DET.
- Be confident supporting learners to develop their English and maths skills, including functional skills.
- Have own transport and be willing to travel.
- Be confident in the use of ICT to promote and support teaching, learning and assessment.
- Be confident using Teams and Microsoft.

Be able to maintain up-to-date knowledge and skills in the subject/vocational area, and aware of the needs and concerns of employers reasonable distances to undertake workplace assessment and monitoring visits.
