The Early Years Alliance is the largest early years membership organisation and voluntary sector provider of quality affordable childcare and education in England. An educational charity, the Alliance represents the interests of over 14,000 member settings who deliver care and learning to over 800,000 families every year.
We are looking to recruit an experienced and dynamic digital marketing manager to lead on the organisation's digital communications and marketing strategy and operations, including our website and intranet, social media and the ongoing development of professional digital resources and materials.

Main duties:
- Lead on the development of all Alliance digital communications and marketing materials, including the creation of professional templates for cross-organisational use.
- Lead on the development of the organisational strategy for the Alliance website, including the My EYA Portal and Members’ Area, and the Family Corner website, including upcoming website redesign plans.
- Manage the design and branding of all Alliance materials and resources shared with external audiences - digital newsletters and mailings, presentations, flyers and handouts, working in partnership with the digital communications officer.
- Co-ordinate, create and edit internal communications, ensuring consistency of tone and language.
- Lead on the delivery of a cohesive social media strategy including day-to-day management of the charity’s Facebook account and internal Facebook pages and groups.
Essential criteria:
- Proven experience in leading on the development of professional digital marketing and communications materials
- Proven experience of managing and developing digital marketing campaigns
- Strong project-management, negotiation and partnership-working skills
- Proven experience of working in a digital marketing role
- Demonstrable design and branding experience
Hours per week: 35
Weeks per year: 52
