We are recruiting a dedicated Early Years Room Leader to join a friendly and supportive nursery team in Warrington, WA4.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Nursery Practitioner or Early Years Educator who is ready to take the next step in their childcare career and lead a nursery room.
Offering £14.71 per hour for 40 hours per week, this full-time Nursery Room Leader position is ideal for someone passionate about delivering outstanding childcare, supporting children’s development and inspiring a team of early years professionals.
Your Responsibilities as a Nursery Room Leader
- Lead, motivate and support a team of Nursery Practitioners.
- Ensure high standards of childcare, learning and development.
- Plan and deliver engaging activities in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
- Create a safe, stimulating and nurturing learning environment.
- Monitor and support children’s individual development and progress.
- Build strong relationships with parents, carers and colleagues.
- Ensure safeguarding, health and safety and nursery policies are followed.
- Mentor and support team members to maintain excellent childcare standards.
- Assist nursery management with the smooth day-to-day running of the room.
What We’re Looking For
- A recognised Level 3 qualification in Childcare or Early Years.
- Previous experience working in a nursery or early years setting.Room leadership or supervisory experience is desirable.
- Strong knowledge of the EYFS and safeguarding requirements.
- Excellent communication, organisation and leadership skills.
- A positive, caring and enthusiastic approach to childcare.
- A genuine passion for supporting children’s learning and development.
Salary and Working Hours
- Hourly Rate: £14.71
- Weekly Hours: 40 hours
- Equivalent Annual Salary: £30,596.80 (based on 52 paid weeks)
