We are recruiting a dedicated and enthusiastic Nursery Manager to lead an early years nursery team in Warrington, WA4.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Nursery Manager, Deputy Nursery Manager or Early Years Leader who is ready to take the next step in their childcare management career.
Offering £19 per hour for 40 hours per week, this full-time Nursery Manager position is ideal for someone with strong leadership skills, excellent knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and a genuine passion for delivering outstanding childcare.

Your Responsibilities as a Nursery Manager
- Oversee the day-to-day management and smooth operation of the nursery.
- Lead, motivate and support a team of Nursery Practitioners, Room Leaders and Early Years Educators.
- Ensure the nursery delivers high-quality childcare and early years education.
- Maintain compliance with the EYFS statutory framework, Ofsted requirements and safeguarding legislation.
- Create a safe, welcoming and stimulating environment for children, families and staff.
- Support staff recruitment, training, development and performance management.
- Build positive relationships with parents, carers and external professionals.
- Monitor children’s learning, development and wellbeing.
- Manage staff rotas, nursery resources and operational procedures.
- Promote a positive team culture and continuously improve nursery standards.
- Support nursery occupancy, parent satisfaction and overall nursery performance.
What We’re Looking For
- A recognised Level 3 qualification in Childcare or Early Years as a minimum.
- Previous experience in nursery management, deputy management or a senior early years leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of the EYFS, Ofsted regulations and safeguarding procedures.
- Excellent leadership, communication and organisational skills.
- Experience supporting, developing and motivating nursery teams.
- Confidence in managing nursery operations and maintaining high childcare standards.
- A professional, caring and proactive approach.
- A genuine passion for children’s learning, development and wellbeing.
Salary and Working Hours
- Hourly Rate: £19.00
- Weekly Hours: 40 hours
- Equivalent Annual Salary: £39,520 (based on 52 paid weeks)
