Early Years Academy is recruiting a passionate, motivated and experienced Nursery Manager to lead a day nursery in the Brislington area.

Key Responsibilities
As Nursery Manager, you will be responsible for:
- Leading and managing the day-to-day operation of the nursery.
- Ensuring high standards of childcare and education in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
- Maintaining compliance with Ofsted requirements, safeguarding legislation and nursery policies.
- Leading, motivating and developing the nursery team.
- Overseeing staff recruitment, supervision, training and performance.
- Supporting the delivery of engaging, inclusive and stimulating learning experiences.
- Building strong relationships with parents, carers and external professionals.
- Monitoring nursery occupancy, staffing ratios and operational performance.
- Managing budgets, resources and nursery administration.
- Maintaining effective safeguarding, health and safety and safer recruitment procedures.
- Driving continuous improvement and maintaining high standards across the setting.
Qualifications and Experience
To be considered for this Nursery Manager vacancy in Brislington, you should have:
- A recognised Level 3 qualification in Childcare or Early Years as a minimum.
- Previous experience in nursery management or a senior Early Years leadership position.
- A strong understanding of the EYFS, safeguarding and Ofsted requirements.
- Excellent leadership, communication and organisational skills.i>
- Experience supporting, mentoring and developing nursery staff.
- Confidence managing staffing, operational standards and parent relationships.
- A genuine passion for delivering high-quality Early Years education.
A Level 5 qualification or relevant leadership qualification would be advantageous, but is not essential unless required by the employer.
