We are recruiting for a passionate, confident and enthusiastic Nursery Deputy Manager to join a welcoming and supportive nursery in the NW2 area of London.

Key Responsibilities
- Support the Nursery Manager with the smooth day-to-day running of the nursery.
- Lead, motivate and inspire a team of Early Years Practitioners.
- Ensure the nursery meets EYFS statutory requirements and safeguarding standards.
- Maintain high standards of teaching, learning and childcare.
- Support staff training, supervision and professional development.
- Oversee children’s learning, development and progress.
- Build strong relationships with parents, carers and external professionals.
- Assist with nursery inspections, quality assurance and continuous improvement.
- Support staff rotas, ratios and daily operational requirements.
- Take responsibility for the nursery in the Manager’s absence.
Essential Requirements
- A recognised Level 3 qualification or above in Early Years or Childcare.
- Previous experience working in an Early Years nursery or preschool.
- Leadership experience as a Nursery Deputy Manager, Third in Charge or experienced Room Leader.
- Strong knowledge of the EYFS framework and safeguarding procedures.
- Excellent communication, organisational and leadership skills.
- Ability to motivate, mentor and support a nursery team.
- A positive, professional and child-centred approach.
- A genuine passion for providing high-quality Early Years education.
