Early Years Academy is recruiting a passionate, enthusiastic and dedicated Nursery Room Leader for a day nursery in the BS5 area of Bristol.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead, motivate and support a team of Nursery Practitioners.
- Oversee the day-to-day running of your designated nursery room.
- Deliver high-quality childcare and early education in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
- Plan and implement engaging, stimulating and age-appropriate learning experiences.
- Support children’s individual learning, development and wellbeing.
- Maintain a safe, nurturing and inclusive nursery environment.
- Build positive relationships with parents, carers and colleagues.
- Support staff development, mentoring and ongoing training.
- Maintain high standards of safeguarding, health and safety and nursery practice.
- Work closely with the Nursery Manager and wider leadership team.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
- A recognised Level 3 qualification in Childcare or Early Years.
- Experience working within a nursery or Early Years setting.
- A strong understanding of the EYFS and safeguarding requirements.
- Excellent communication, organisational and leadership skills.
- The ability to inspire, motivate and support colleagues.
- A genuine passion for delivering high-quality childcare.
- A positive, caring and professional approach.
Previous Room Leader experience is desirable, although experienced Senior Nursery Practitioners ready to progress are encouraged to apply.
