Breakfast & After School Club Manager Job in Kingsbury
Early Years Academy is recruiting an experienced and enthusiastic Breakfast & After School Club Manager for a fantastic childcare setting in Kingsbury, London.
This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified childcare professional looking for a rewarding, part-time, term-time-only position with leadership responsibilities.

Working Hours
23.5 hours per week – Term Time Only
Breakfast Club: 7:30am – 9:00am
After School Club: 3:00pm – 6:00pm
Additional Duties: 1 hour per week for administration, planning and meetings
Enjoy school holidays off while working in a rewarding childcare management role.
Key Responsibilities
As the Breakfast & After School Club Manager, you will:
- Oversee the daily running of the breakfast and after-school clubs.
- Lead, support and supervise the childcare team.
- Create a safe, welcoming and engaging environment for children.
- Plan and deliver fun, age-appropriate activities.
- Ensure safeguarding, health and safety, and childcare policies are followed.
- Maintain appropriate staff-to-child ratios.
- Build positive relationships with children, parents and school staff.
- Manage daily registers, attendance and administrative tasks.
- Support children’s wellbeing, independence and development.
- Ensure the smooth operation of both clubs.
Requirements
Essential:
- Minimum Level 3 qualification in Childcare or a relevant equivalent.
- Previous experience working with children in a nursery, school, wraparound care or childcare setting.
- Strong understanding of safeguarding and child protection.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Ability to lead a team and manage daily childcare operations.
- A positive, caring and enthusiastic approach.
Desirable:
- Previous experience as a Breakfast Club Manager, After School Club Manager, Room Leader, Deputy Manager or childcare supervisor.
- Paediatric First Aid qualification.
- Experience planning activities for primary-school-aged children.
