We are searching for a proactive candidate who can effectively support and lead a setting and its team. The position involves having a high level of responsibility for the day-to-day operations of the company. The job involves being responsible for overseeing and successfully delivering the Early Years Foundation Stage Statutory Guidance (EYFS) and other government statutory legislation within our childcare provision. Working across settings supporting the Managers, Area Manager and Directors.

To offer full and practical support in the day-to-day running of the nursery. To be flexible to the needs of the business. Flexible to work between: 7am - 6pm, Monday - Friday.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support and lead a setting and its team.
  • Oversee and successfully deliver EYFS and other statutory legislation.
  • Support day-to-day running of the nursery.
  • Work across settings supporting Managers, Area Manager and Directors.
  • Be flexible between 7am – 6pm, Monday – Friday.
  • Provide a safe, stimulating and inclusive environment for babies and young children.
  • Support parents & carers and work alongside the local authority.
Candidate Profile

Required Qualifications & Documents
  • Copies of your relevant Childcare certificates (level 3 childcare diploma, foundation degree, full degree, QT, EYP etc.).
  • Copies of your GCSE certificates (Maths & English grades C and above - essential to apply).
  • Any copies of safeguarding/ child protection training and level.
  • Two contacts and addresses for written references (one needs to be current employer).
Interview Process

The interview is led by a member of our management team. We will ask you questions and review the following areas:

  • Childcare history and experience.
  • Special Educational Needs and Disabilities experience.
  • Qualification(s) & awards.
  • Knowledge and understanding of the EYFS.
  • Safeguarding and child protection.
  • Procedure in dealing with ‘what to do if you are worried a child has been abused’, Prevent Duty & British Values.
