Position Overview
We are looking for an experienced Early Years practitioner to work within our nursery, providing a safe, stimulating and inclusive environment for babies and young children. The role involves supporting and delivering the EYFS curriculum, assisting with daily nursery operations, and fostering children’s development.
Key Responsibilities
- Support, plan and deliver EYFS to meet the children’s developmental needs.
- Provide a safe, stimulating and inclusive learning environment for babies and young children.
- Assist with the day‑to‑day running of the nursery, including classroom support, materials preparation and maintenance.
- Respond flexibly to the needs of the business and children.
- Participate in safeguarding and child protection responsibilities.
Qualifications
- Minimum Early Years qualification: Level 3 Diploma in Childcare (equivalent or higher).
- Preferred: Diploma of Higher Education in Early Years.
- Certificate in Child Protection (or equivalent).
- Certificate in Paediatric First Aid (or equivalent).
Experience
- Minimum of 2 years of childcare experience (preferred).
Working Hours & Schedule
- Full‑time, Monday to Friday.
- Hours: 7 am – 6 pm (flexible as required).
- 40–45 hours per week.
Remuneration
- Hourly rate: £12.90.
- Salary exceeds National Minimum Wage.
