Full-time: 30 – 45 hours per week, Monday – Friday, Part-time: 20-27.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday. Flexible to suit the needs of the business.

Early Learners Nursery Sutton are looking for someone to join our growing team. Early Learners Nurseries has been caring for babies and young children since 1985 and is a family run company. We want passionate Early Years Professionals to join our expanding workforce.
Job summary
We are searching for a proactive candidate who can effectively support our manager and its team. The position involves having a high level of responsibility for the day-to‑day operations of the company. The job involves being responsible for overseeing and successfully delivering the Early years Foundation Stage Statutory Guidance (EYFS).
A candidate for this position will need to demonstrate the ability to successfully manage children, support parents & carers and work alongside others. They must be proactive, have a positive approach to learning and be open to change as Early Learners is an evolving and growing company who continuously strive for excellence. They must provide a safe, stimulating and inclusive environment in which babies and young children are supported and encouraged to achieve their full potential. All candidates must provide evidence of a minimum Early Years qualification of a level 3+, childcare degree and/or NQT, equivalent or higher to apply for a position.
Following the correct procedure, as a childcare provider we must ensure that people looking after children are suitable to fulfil the requirements of their roles and understand their responsibilities. All employees must be registered with the DBS update service. We have effective systems in place to ensure that all candidates applying for a position and any other person who is likely to have regular contact with children are suitable, prepared and ready to commence employment.

Interview

Safety is paramount with working with children so please ensure you come prepared and wear appropriate clothing.
The interview is led by a member of our management team. We will ask you questions and review the following areas:

- Special Educational Needs and Disabilities experience,
- Qualification(s) & awards,
- Knowledge and understand of the EYFS,
- Safeguarding and child protection.
