Position Overview
We have a fantastic opportunity for a Training & Events Administrator. Working in a fast‑paced, dynamic team, this is a highly rewarding role for someone who has strong administrative skills and enjoys interacting with and supporting customers. - Answering telephone calls from customers and suppliers and connecting them through to the correct internal department.
- Management of the admin inbox, forwarding any correspondence to the relevant department, and responding to customer queries.
- Booking accommodation and transportation for trainers.
- Liaising with trainers to obtain course materials and formatting presentations.
- Maintain and carry out processes in place in relation to presentations, monitoring records, spreadsheets and databases.
- Creating and managing course booking enquiries through the online booking system including raising credit notes and amending course booking orders as required.
- Assisting customers and delegates with technical enquiries relating to the online learning portal and booking system.
- Producing and sending pre and post course communications to course delegates.
- Setting up online webinars, IT support and ensuring all course materials, evaluation forms and marketing materials are sent out.
- Processing of evaluation forms and sending feedback to trainers.
- First line technical support for delegates and speakers using webinar platforms such as Zoom and Go to Webinar.
- Editing webinar recordings to be used on the online training portal and uploading course materials.
- Assisting with the administration and technical webinar support of external and national courses and events as required.
- Assisting the wider team and the senior leadership team as required.
Key Experience / Skills
- Previous administration experience with sole responsibility for success of key tasks – minimum of 2 years required.
- Educated to degree level (desirable).
- Experience of using webinar software such as Zoom, Microsoft Teams and GoToWebinar (preferred).
- Professional telephone manner, experience, and confidence to deal with calls and queries.
- Excellent communication skills and a keen eye for detail and presentation.
- Strong working knowledge and proficiency of Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel) is a necessity.
- Ability to deliver high quality, accurate work within required deadlines.
