Earl's Court Medical Centre has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Practice Nurse to join our welcoming and forward-thinking team on a full-time basis. Your normal pattern of working will be Monday - Friday, 9am - 5:30pm. Interested applicants must have primary care and SystmOne experience. You will be working to improve patient health outcomes and deliver high-quality care to our patients.

  • Cervical smears
  • Contraception
  • Wound care
  • Removal of sutures
  • Blood pressure monitoring
  • Travel advice and injections
  • Routine/childhood immunisations
  • ECGs

Our multidisciplinary team includes experienced GPs, Clinical Pharmacists, Practice Nurses, HCA and social prescribers, all supported by a skilled administrative and care navigation team. We work collaboratively to provide personalised care, support effective long-term condition management and improve access to healthcare through innovative systems and online triage. Person Specification:

Qualifications: A relevant nursing degree and at least 2 years post qualification experience in a general practice setting or equivalent. Current NMC registration with an active PIN; Fundamentals of Practice Nursing course (General Practice Nurse Foundation Programme) or equivalent experience or qualifications.

Experience: SystmOne trained. Evidence of clinical skills and experience in treatment room consultation, ECG recording, screening, management of long-term conditions, cervical cytology sampling, vaccinations and immunisations, assisting with minor surgery, dressing and wound care. Compassionate, empathetic approach and demonstrable kindness in all aspects of your work as well as valuing the dignity of our patients, relatives, carers and colleagues. Knowledge and application of supporting long-term conditions. Insight and understanding of current issues in nursing and the NHS.
