The role
We’re looking for a Store Manager to join the Earl of East retail team across our London stores.
This could be the perfect next step for an experienced Assistant Store Manager or Supervisor who is ready to take on their first store.
You don’t necessarily need to have been a Store Manager before. We’re looking for someone with strong retail experience, natural leadership skills, commercial awareness and the ambition to take the next step in their career.
The role
As a Store Manager, you’ll take ownership of one of our London stores, working closely with our Retail Lead and wider retail team to deliver an exceptional customer experience and strong commercial performance.
You’ll be responsible for:
- Leading, motivating and developing your store team
- Driving daily, weekly and monthly sales targets and KPIs
- Delivering exceptional, knowledgeable customer service
- Coaching the team on selling, service and product knowledge
- Managing the rota and day‑to‑day store operations
- Maintaining excellent visual and operational standards
- Monitoring performance and identifying opportunities to improve results
- Managing stock, deliveries and store administration
- Supporting the onboarding and development of new team members
- Building relationships within the local community
- Creating a positive, collaborative and accountable store culture
- Working closely with our wider London retail team to share knowledge and best practice
- This is a hands‑on retail role. We’re looking for someone who enjoys being on the shop floor, working with customers and leading by example.
About you
You might currently be an Assistant Store Manager, Supervisor or experienced senior Sales Assistant looking for your next step. You’ll ideally have:
- Strong retail experience
- Experience taking responsibility for a shop floor or team
- A genuine enjoyment of selling and customer service
- Commercial awareness and confidence working towards targets
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- A practical, solutions‑focused approach
- Great attention to detail
- An interest in fragrance, design and lifestyle
- The ambition to develop as a retail leader
- Previous Store Manager experience isn't essential. What matters is that you're ready for the responsibility of running a store and excited to grow into the role.
