The Earl Haig Club is in Whitchurch, Cardiff and we are looking for team members to join us. You will be part of delivering an excellent customer experience that gets our guests coming back for more. Within this social and lively environment, you will get to have a laugh along the way.

Late nights and weekends are an essential part of our working hours, but we are very good at accommodating all our team’s needs and spreading the workload as best we can. Please consider your location and potential travel issues with late night finishes.

About The Earl Haig: We are a thriving club, which offers its members and visitors live entertainment, live streaming of sports, a skittle alley, snooker/pool room and dart board, and are also hosts to many community groups.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensuring the bar is operating safely and efficiently
  • Opening and closing the premises
  • Driving sales
  • Delivering great customer service and handling guest feedback and queries
  • Managing the team on shift
  • Upholding hygiene standards
  • Staff training and leading by example
  • Cellar maintenance including line cleaning
  • Good communication skills
  • Reporting back to the general manager

This position offers an exciting opportunity for a dedicated professional to lead a vibrant team while ensuring exceptional guest experiences. We value expertise in both beverage management and culinary standards to uphold our reputation for quality service.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £13.50-£15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
