THE DETAILS:

  • Department: Client Services
  • Reports to: Senior Account Director or Senior Business Director (dependent on role)
  • Hours: Full time, permanent
  • Location: Manchester, Northern Quarter. We operate a Hybrid working policy of ideally minimum 3 days in Manchester HQ per week.

THE ROLE:

As an Account Manager, you are responsible for leading and supporting the planning and execution of integrated brand campaigns, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest creative standards to meet the client's needs. This role requires strong project management skills, stakeholder coordination, and attention to detail to keep campaigns running smoothly.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Campaign Coordination & Execution: Support the end-to-end delivery of high-level, complex integrated marketing campaigns, ensuring key milestones are met. Own and manage the end-to-end delivery of lower-level integrated campaigns. Assist in managing timelines, budgets, and resources to keep campaigns on track. Coordinate across creative, production, strategy, and media teams to ensure seamless execution and resourcing. Have a thorough understanding of your department's roles and responsibilities and all of the agency's processes. Actively drive best practice processes across all projects working with other team members to ensure a consistently high standard across the whole agency. Work with the Senior Account Manager and Account Director to nurture existing client relationships and build confidence in the agency and its ability to deliver campaigns to the highest standard. Present, alongside agency colleagues creative responses, strategy and insight ideas and concepts to the client.
  • Client & Stakeholder Support: Act as a day-to-day contact for clients, providing regular updates and ensuring smooth communication. Support the Campaign Director in managing agency partners, talent, agencies, and internal teams. Assist in the preparation of campaign reports, status updates, and post-campaign analysis.
  • Project & Budget Management: Own and maintain detailed project timelines, ensuring deadlines and deliverables are met. Assist the Campaign Director in tracking overall campaign budgets, flagging potential overages and ensuring cost efficiencies. Take ownership of specific areas of campaign budgets, ensuring we stay within the identified budgets and minimise project creep. Identify and escalate potential project risks to senior team members.
  • Creative & Strategic Collaboration: Work closely with creative teams to ensure campaign creative and assets align with brand guidelines and objectives. Support the strategy team in integrating audience insights and data into campaign planning. Ensure all campaign deliverables are in line with the overall creative vision.

KEY REQUIREMENTS

Our ideal successful candidate will have:

  • 3+ years of experience in campaign/project management within a creative, advertising, or marketing agency.
  • Experience within an agency environment.
  • Strong understanding of integrated marketing campaigns, including digital, social, experiential, and content production.
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills, with strong attention to detail.
  • The ability to lead internal agency teams through campaign delivery.
  • The ability to lead clients through agency campaign delivery.
  • Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, often changing, environment is a must.
  • Strong team player with a proactive and problem-solving mindset.
  • Passion for sport, gaming, or wider culture is a must for this role.
