Head of HR

Location: London/home

Reporting to: Chief Operating Officer

Working collaboratively with key business stakeholders, across the UK, U.S & Asia offices, to support and advise across a broad range of responsibilities. Responsible for the HR function globally, and with team leadership responsibility for the HR team (currently 1). Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, this is a challenging, broad and varied role with considerable opportunity for growth.

  • Managing employee relations, advising around process and best practice.
  • Staying abreast of legislative changes and managing template and policy updates.
  • Managing external, outsourced HR relationships to ensure appropriate levels of support.
  • Oversight of leave management, managing and supporting leave (and return/reintegration) during maternity, sick, bereavement and all other leave types.
  • Alongside the HR team, responsibility for ensuring a smoother onboarding experience for new hires.
  • Reviewing exit interview feedback and providing reports on trends/ remedial action
  • Ensure effective implementation of PDP and performance processes, holding leaders to account and ensuring the process is followed and documentation completed
  • Managing any litigation that may arise, and liaise with external legal support as required to resolve potential issues promptly
  • Managing and administering payroll

  • Compensation: ensuring compensation is fair, and payrises triggered as required
  • Salary & commission scheme benchmarking to ensure competitive, as well as drafting compensation documentation
  • Location specific filings – for example MOM/tax filings in Asia
  • Managing visa/employment pass applications
  • Managing the employee engagement survey, reporting findings and remedial actions
  • Lead on HR administration globally & management of the HR team, as well as external HR parties
  • Identifying and implementing HR initiatives as part of the company wide growth & leading HR projects
  • Drive wellbeing strategy and agenda
  • Drive D+I and ESG strategy and agenda
  • HR reporting: creating a set of reports that provide visibility of the core aspects of the employee lifecycle and provide recommendations to address & remediate
