Eames Consulting are currently supporting an established Wealth Manager looking to appoint a Business Analyst focusing on Financial Crime on a 12 FTC.

Key responsibilities include

  • Mapping and documenting end-to-end as-is and to-be business processes.
  • Eliciting and documenting regulatory, business and control requirements.
  • Translating AML, KYC and financial crime regulations into practical processes and controls.
  • Developing standardised procedures, guidance and processes across distribution channels.
  • Working with Compliance, Operations and Distribution stakeholders to design and implement practical solutions.
  • Supporting testing through the development of test scenarios and acceptance criteria.
  • Helping design Second Line of Defence (2LOD) assurance frameworks, including file review and testing methodologies.
  • Supporting training, implementation and rollout activities.
  • Ensuring processes, requirements and controls are appropriately documented, auditable and ready for assurance or regulatory review.

About you

  • The successful candidate will have 5+ years' Business Analysis experience within financial services, ideally with exposure to wealth management, financial planning or other advisory environments.

You will have strong experience across

  • AML, KYC and Financial Crime change programmes
  • MLR 2017 and relevant regulatory guidance
  • Risk-based approaches and regulatory change
  • Process mapping and process design
  • Requirements gathering and documentation
  • Control frameworks and regulatory compliance
  • Testing, implementation and assurance
  • Stakeholder management across Compliance, Operations and business teams
