Eames is currently working with a scale up insurance platform on the appointment of an Underwriting Operations Analyst. The role will support the technical operations of underwriting teams, ensuring smooth processing of premiums, claims, credit control, and financial reporting. This role involves working closely with internal teams as well as external partners, to maintain efficient workflows and resolve queries promptly.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with underwriting, finance, and external stakeholders to ensure seamless communication and issue resolution.
  • Oversee and prioritise work allocated to outsourced teams, ensuring service levels are met.
  • Process and review insurance transactions, supporting premium and claims operations.
  • Contribute to system and process improvements to enhance efficiency across operations.

Skills & Experience

  • Background in insurance, particularly within underwriting, finance, or operations.
  • Knowledge of insurance accounting, including premium handling, claims payments, and bordereaux processing.
  • Experience coordinating with outsourced teams and overseeing delegated tasks.
