I'm working closely with a Lloyd's Syndicate on the appointment of an Underwriting Governance Specialist within their Underwriting Management team. The position will be responsible for supporting the team's ongoing enhancement of the Underwriting Controls Framework.
Responsibilities:
- Support the Underwriting Management team's improvement of data quality within the Underwriting Systems
- Develop and manage exception reports to ensure that all risks are in line with the Syndicate business plan
- Responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely preparation of internal and regulatory reporting
- Update Underwriting Authorities and Policies on an ad hoc basis
- Contribute to the improvement of current processes, while providing support to projects in the wider business
Required Experience:
- This individual must have prior exposure to operating within a Controls Framework, in the insurance industry
