Eames Consulting are supporting a leading global insurer who are looking to appoint a Snr Compliance Advisory Manager on an initial 12 month fixed term contract. Role is hybrid and can be based from any office location in London, Bristol, Manchester, Liverpool or Edinburgh.
Role responsibilities:
- Provide advice and interpretation on regulatory compliance, customer outcomes and conduct matters to the business.
- Give relevant regulatory advice, challenge and input to appropriate governance committees and internal decision-making forums. This will include briefing the Head of on compliance and conduct matters.
- Providing compliance advisory input and review to business change programmes, regulatory requests and meetings.
- Supporting with the formulation of responses to regulatory papers.
Experience:
- Strong understanding of legislation and regulatory requirements relevant to an insurance firm, and how these are applied in practice (including Senior Managers and Certification Regime (SMCR), General Insurance Pricing Practices, Consumer Duty, Multi Occupancy Buildings Insurance, Appointed Representative Regime, Operational Resilience and Delegated Authority Arrangements).
- Good understanding of the insurance industry, minimum 5+ yrs working in the industry.
- Effective stakeholder engagement, interpersonal and organisational skills.
- Ability to challenge and influence stakeholders up to executive management.
