Financial Controller in Slough

Eames are exclusively partnering with a leading care home business based in London to hire a Financial Controller. Our client is a highly acquisitive business with exciting growth plans for the coming years.

We are looking for a self-starter who is either a Financial Controller looking for an exciting opportunity or a Finance Manager looking for a step up. The role will involve all aspects of finance and manage a team of Management Accountants.

Key tasks/ responsibilities:

• Support the day-to-day management of the accounts function
• Oversee the month end process for various entities
• Produce monthly group reporting for the board, banks and investors.
• Assist in consolidation of group financials and preparation of budgets, forecasts etc
• Cashflow forecasting
• Support the integration of acquisitions and new business units
• Documentation of accounting processes and policies
• Work collaboratively with senior management
• Monitoring Capex and manage cost control across operations
• Support in various head office projects
• Stay updated on legislative and regulatory developments in the care industry

Person requirements:

• Fully qualified accountant
• Experience managing a team, ideally including management accountants
• Care home experience highly desirable
• Experience of managing finance projects
