Interim Financial Controller
Contract Length: 3 months+
Day Rate: cĀ£300 ā 350 per day
Care Home Experience Essential
We are delighted to be partnering with a highly-acquisitive Care Home Group who are looking for an Interim Financial Controller to support the business during a busy time.
Responsibilities:
- Support the day-to-day operations of the accounts function.
- Oversee month-end processes across multiple entities.
- Lead and monitor the credit control function.
- Prepare monthly group reporting for the board, banks, and investors.
- Assist with group financial consolidation, including the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and related analyses.
- Analyse commercial P&L and balance sheet performance, with responsibility for designated P&L lines.
- Prepare and maintain cashflow forecasts.
- Support the integration of acquisitions and newly established business units.
- Document and enhance accounting policies, procedures, and workflows.
- Partner effectively with senior management across the organisation.
- Monitor Capex and drive cost control initiatives across operations.
- Contribute to various head-office projects as required.
- Manage all insurance claims for the Group.
- Keep up to date with legislative and regulatory developments relevant to the care sector.
Requirements:
- Fully qualified accountant or QBE
- Industry experience is essential
- Demonstrated experience in leading and delivering finance-related projects.
- Highly numerate and analytical, with excellent attention to detail.
- Deadline-driven and able to work under pressure.
- Ambitious, proactive, and motivated to make a meaningful impact.
