Eames are exclusively partnering with a leading care home business based in London to hire a Financial Controller. Our client is a highly acquisitive business with exciting growth plans for the coming years.
We are looking for a self-starter who is either a Financial Controller looking for an exciting opportunity or a Finance Manager looking for a step up. The role will involve all aspects of finance and manage a team of Management Accountants.
Key tasks/ responsibilities:
- Support the day-to-day management of the accounts function
- Oversee the month end process for various entities
- Produce monthly group reporting for the board, banks and investors.
- Assist in consolidation of group financials and preparation of budgets, forecasts etc
- Cashflow forecasting
- Support the integration of acquisitions and new business units
- Documentation of accounting processes and policies
- Work collaboratively with senior management
- Monitoring Capex and manage cost control across operations
- Support in various head office projects
- Stay updated on legislative and regulatory developments in the care industry
Person requirements:
- Fully qualified accountant
- Experience managing a team, ideally including management accountants
- Care home experience highly desirable
- Experience of managing finance projects
