We’re working with a well-regarded insurer who are looking to hire a Claims Analyst into its Professional Lines team in London. This is a strong opportunity for a claims professional who wants broader exposure across complex Financial and Professional Lines matters, while working closely with underwriting and senior claims stakeholders.
The role will involve managing a portfolio of Professional Lines claims, including areas such as Financial Institutions, D&O and E&O. You’ll be involved in the full claims lifecycle, from reserving and coverage considerations through to negotiations, settlements, reporting and stakeholder communication. The position will also offer exposure to broker interaction, external counsel management, recoveries, audits and wider claims projects.
We’re particularly interested in candidates with London market claims experience and a solid grounding in Professional Lines wordings. Exposure to Lloyd’s business, lead and follow claims, and international or US claims would be beneficial.
Ideal background:
- Experience handling Professional Lines claims
- Exposure to areas such as FI, D&O, E&O
- Understanding of the London market and/or Lloyd’s environment
- Confident communicator with strong written skills
