Senior Claims Adjuster - Energy

Eames is currently working with a Global Carrier on the appointment of a Senior Adjuster into their team in London. This individual will be joining technical claims team, handling complex and high value international energy & construction claims. The book is varied and includes traditional energy risks, as well as a growing renewables portfolio. Our client leads a lot of business, so experience operating in a lead market would be preferred, but not essential.

Responsibilities:

• Manage an international portfolio of Energy & Construction claims, evaluating policy liability and negotiating settlement of claims
• Maintain relationships with the carrier’s current clients, and develop relationships with new clients, as well as with internal stakeholders
• Communicate effectively with third parties, such as loss adjusters, solicitors, and brokers.

Required Experience:

• Must have experience handling large and complex Energy or Construction claims – with a good knowledge of both lines
• Thorough experience interacting with brokers and maintaining relationships with clients and stakeholders
