Senior Accountant based in London, focused on technical and regulatory reporting plus driving improvements across finance systems and processes.
What you\'ll be doing
- Owning monthly Lloyd\'s underwriting results (premiums, claims, GL posting)
- Keeping balance sheet recs tight and supporting SOX-compliant controls
- Digging into financial/underwriting data to validate performance and sort out discrepancies
- Building out SQL queries and using Power BI to sharpen reporting
- Leading quarterly Lloyd\'s and European regulatory returns, plus supporting statutory reporting and audit
What they\'re looking for
- Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA or equivalent) with insurance or Lloyd\'s market experience
- Solid grasp of premiums, claims, reserves and reporting cycles in a multi-entity setup
- Strong Excel and SQL skills, comfortable across multiple systems/data warehouses
- Analytical - happy getting into big datasets and finding practical fixes
- Good stakeholder manager - works well across finance, actuarial, underwriting and IT
