An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced reinsurance purchasing professional to join a growing and dynamic insurance organisation. This role will play a key part in the development, placement, and management of ceded reinsurance programmes, supporting the business's risk management and portfolio optimisation objectives.

Working closely with underwriting, actuarial, claims, analytics, legal, and operations teams, you will help shape reinsurance strategy, lead placement activities, and provide insight into market developments and emerging trends. You will build and maintain strong relationships with brokers and reinsurers while contributing to strategic projects and process improvements across the function.

The successful candidate will bring strong reinsurance market knowledge, including experience of programme design, placement execution, and contract structures. Excellent analytical, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills are essential, alongside the ability to influence decisions and collaborate effectively across multiple business areas.
