Our client is looking for an Actuarial Analyst to join an innovative life insurer in London. This is a unique opportunity to join a research and development function focused on designing and enhancing behaviour-driven health and wellbeing products. The role sits at the intersection of actuarial analysis, data insight, and product innovation, with a strong emphasis on turning customer data into impactful propositions. You will support the development of new ideas from concept through to implementation, using data on customer behaviour and engagement to shape product strategy and drive real-world outcomes. Working closely with teams across product, digital, marketing, and data science, you will play a key role in bringing new initiatives to life.

Responsibilities:

  • Analysing large and complex datasets to generate insights, supporting pricing and product evaluation, and applying actuarial techniques to assess impacts on metrics such as mortality, morbidity, and persistency.
  • Building business cases, developing product specifications, and contributing across the full product lifecycle.

Qualifications:

  • Part-qualified actuary with strong analytical capability and experience working with data (including SQL).
  • Comfortable communicating insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders and interest in behavioural trends and product innovation.
  • Experience in pricing, product development, or broader actuarial analysis within life insurance advantageous.
