Job Description
We are recruiting an Operations Manager on a 6-month fixed-term contract to join a leading insurance solutions provider. You will lead and oversee insurance operations, including process governance, technology solutions, vendor management, and MI/analytics reporting. A key focus will be on continuous improvement of operational processes, ensuring compliance, scalability, and effective delivery of services to corporate insured members.
Key responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day insurance operations, including new business, renewals, credit control, and regulatory compliance.
- Lead process mapping, control frameworks, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Oversee internal staff and external service providers.
- Develop and maintain reporting, analytics, and MI for senior management and stakeholders.
- Support strategic business and operational planning, including financial management and budgeting.
- Collaborate across teams including Risk Assurance, Claims, Finance, and IT.
What we’re looking for:
- Professional insurance, risk management, or broking qualification preferred; degree in a numerical, analytical, or business-related field advantageous.
- Extensive experience managing insurance operations, data, MI, quality assurance, and reporting.
- Knowledge of MGA/broking operations and outsourcing arrangements desirable.
- Understanding of regulatory and Lloyd’s requirements.
- Strong leadership, communication, planning, and problem-solving skills.
- Commercially aware with a client-focused mindset.
