Eames are currently partnered with a leading global insurer to appoint a Senior Property Underwriter into its London Market Property team. This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established platform with a strong reputation in the Corporate & Specialty market, underwriting a diverse portfolio of UK and International Property risks. The team has ambitious growth plans and is looking for an experienced underwriter who enjoys developing broker relationships, writing profitable business and helping shape the future direction of the portfolio.
The successful candidate will be responsible for underwriting new and renewal business across a broad Property portfolio, building and strengthening relationships with key London Market brokers and identifying opportunities for profitable growth. Alongside underwriting responsibilities, you'll work closely with senior leadership on portfolio strategy, support junior members of the team and contribute to wider business initiatives.
This is a highly visible role suited to someone who enjoys being in the market, taking ownership of broker relationships and playing an active role in the continued development of a successful Property account.

- Experience underwriting Corporate or Commercial Property risks within the Lloyd's and London Market.
- Strong relationships with London Market brokers.
- Experience writing Lead and/or Follow business.
- A commercial underwriting mindset with a focus on profitable growth.
- The ability to mentor junior colleagues and contribute to portfolio development.
